Boyles were once MacHughs....

Several Generations ago, said one Matthew J. Boyle, of Roselle Park, NJ, a great great grandmother was widowed with a bunch of kids and she remarried a man named Boyle, so they took his name. They were actually "MacHugh," or "McHugh"

"Well, I like MacHugh," said his daughter Nora. And, then she realized she needed to get family history documented because up until then she was telling everybody she was descended from

Sir Robert Boyle, the famous chemist who is known for Boyle's Law,
(Robert_Boyle.htm, and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Boyle, and Boyle's Law) and/or the famous Dramatist,

John Boyle, 5th Earl of Cork and 5th Earl of Orrery, FRS (13 January 1707 – 16 November 1762) was a writer and a friend of Jonathan Swift, Alexander Pope and Samuel Johnson.

and Lately, Susan Boyle, the singer, Peter Boyle, who played Frankenstein in Young Frankenstein, among other great starring roles, and so  on.
and all this rich family history, The Boyle Asteroid????
and what? We are MacHughs'???????
WTF?
